What you'll do

Job Chow Recruiting is hiring a remote Electrical Engineer contractor to support a leading AI lab. You will contribute domain expertise to model training, evaluation, and structured task review. Work is fully remote, hourly, and flexible.

Who we're looking for

Guide research and engineering teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance in electrical engineering, including circuit analysis and design, power systems and power electronics, and embedded and control systems.
Design challenging, domain-relevant tasks, and write accurate and well-structured reference solutions to electrical engineering problems.
Evaluate electrical engineering tasks and model outputs and provide clear, written technical feedback, catching incorrect assumptions, unit and sign errors, violated design constraints, and unsafe design choices.
Develop guidelines and detailed rubrics to assess the quality of reasoning across areas such as analog and mixed-signal design, RF, PCB and board-level design, power distribution, signal processing, and controls.
Remote, flexible independent contractor engagement via Gridnaut Recruiting; collaborate with other subject matter experts to keep training data consistent and accurate.

Compensation

Pay range is $80–$120/hr depending on experience and demonstrated skill. Strong contributors may be promoted based on task quality and throughput.

Commitment

Flexible part-time hours, fully remote. Hourly contractor engagement.
